Hola a todos, and welcome to the CMLL Weekly Review! After a two-week hiatus due to personal and technical difficulties, we are back with the week’s highlights.
First up, last Monday in a clash of champions all the way from Arena Puebla, the Mexican National Women’s Tag Team Champions Skadi and Kira defeated the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions Las Chicas Indomables (Lluvia and La Jarochita) in a non title bout. Regardless of their loss, both teams will face each other once again next Monday. Will the CMLL Tag Champions prevail?
Coming in hot from their win, Skadi returned to Arena México this time for a six-Amazon tag match, teaming up with veteran La Magnifica and Lady Metal against Candela and the sister duo of Olympia and Hera.
With bodies flying everywhere throughout the match, Skadi was able to pick up the big win with a springboard back elbow drop on Olympia.
And last Friday night, continuing their losing streak of the week, Las Chicas Indomables were defeated by the team-up Persephone and Reyna Isis, finishing things up with a combo of a bridging German suplex and pin by La flor del desierto. Post-match they challenged Las Chicas Indomables for a title shot in the near future.
